My wife and I had our wedding at Field Place on 17th May 2019. We had Fiona playing for our ceremony and drinks reception. She was brilliant throughout, playing everything we wanted and even a very special “Knight Rider” surprise for me which to say was last minute was an understatement! Fiona took it all in her stride and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her for any special occasion.
What can I say!!!
Thank you so much for being so wonderful on Thursday, you were greatly appreciated by so many people & were the perfect touch to our day.
I can safely say I am absolutely exhausted & am pleased I never have to do that again haha.
Super loads of love from here xxx
Fiona played at our wedding on 9th June 2018 and i cannot thank her enough for making our day even more perfect. I had a very relaxed morning getting ready and the reality of the day only sunk in when i heard her beautiful harp as i arrived, and was the perfect thing to walk up the isle to. The sound of the harp is stunning and carried over the field and lake at our venue, it was a huge talking point for our guests and gave the wedding breakfast so much more ambience. The booking process was easy and price wise i would certainly not question her value. Id love to hold another event just to see her again. THANK YOU FIONA.
Just wanted to say a HUGE, colossal thank you for playing at our wedding! You were absolutely wonderful and I kept nearly crying as I heard you play during the ceremony. I’m so sorry I didn’t manage to get over to speak to you- by the time the photographer had finished with us you were gone and I was gutted I didn’t get to tell you how wonderful I thought you had played. It really made the whole ceremony so special and thank you so much for learning all those songs…you are a very talented lady! I will 100% be recommending you to everybody I know- so many people commented on how beautiful you sounded! I will send you through any professional shots we get of you. Oh and thank you so much for the CD…We gave it a listen and it’s just wonderful!
Best wishes and thank you so much again!
Thank you so much for bringing your beautiful music to enhance our anniversary celebration last Friday.
It all fitted together perfectly due to your calmness and flexibility and many people have commented how much they enjoyed both your music and conversation.
We hope to have the pleasure of listening to you again in the future
I just wanted to thank you for playing at our Wedding last Wednesday in Rye.
You were very kind to a nervous groom and cheerful too! You played beautifully and really helped make the occasion wonderful. It was definitely your playing, when I walked up the stairs to meet the Registrar before the ceremony that set me off emotionally! And it was great just listening to your playing when there was a delay at the start, waiting for Louise to come in. That’s something that a CD player is never going to be able to deal with!
The Best Man told me that you had managed to get the harp down the stairs, whilst the pictures were being taken so hope that was not a problem… I had allocated some helpers.
Thank you so much for playing at our wedding in April. Many of of guests commented on your beautiful playing and it really brought the whole day together beautifully. I can not recommend you enough. Many thanks again.
Markus & I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to you for providing the amazing and beautiful harp music that you played for us on our wedding day. It was the most beautiful sound thatI had even heard and was very moving too.The music was so fitting for the day and everybody said how beautiful it was.
I know that you stepped in at the last minute when Alex had the opportunity of playing in Norway and I can not thank you enough for that.
We were very well entertained by Fiona Hosford, a professional harpist, who played a variety of pieces on her harp. These ranged from Gershwin to Satie and Bacharach among other composers with Fiona ending the evening with a tour de force performance of David Watkins’ “Fire Dance”. Fiona also explained the workings of the harp, gently demystifying the instrument (which many might only know from the side of a foaming glass) and bravely allowing more enquiring members to touch and appreciate the mechanical intricacies of her big gilded harp. It was a most delightful and informal musical evening and we look forward to Fiona returning to Fairlight.
I saw you in ‘Seasons’, Sovereign Harbour last Friday evening (from where you played I was the guy on my own on your left hand side of the restaurant who you later popped over to speak to).
I just wanted to say how much I really enjoyed your terrific performance.
I’d never witnessed live harp music for a very long time and I’m glad that I went to Seasons to see such a performance.
I’ve since spoken to Steve and Christine at ‘Seasons’ to say how much I enjoyed the evening and I look forward to catching up with you and your amazing harp another time soon.
